more like standard 80's VW with the 1.6l IDI diesel stock. I am not even sure they had a TD 1.6 option...but an easy enough swap for a 1.9TDI

I just saw one parked on the street in Kamloops the other day. It was green camo, so likely an ex-Canadian Forces one.
